A visualization from the guide shown on a coloured background. It shows a dotplot chart showing a comparison of the percentage perks advertised on job adverts versus the percentage of people desiring those perks.

How happy are accountants with their salaries? Which UK cities pay construction workers the highest wages? And what benefits are potential marketing hires most likely to be swayed by?

In this project for recruitment experts Stepstone, we analysed raw data from over 17 million job ads and visualized the insights in a suite of two-page salary guides designed to help UK organisations to attract the best talent.

They reveal a fascinating snapshot of 23 UK industries: what workers are being paid (and how happy they are about it), what benefits are most likely to sway them (and what job adverts are currently offering), how salaries compare across industries (and across different UK cities), and much more.

Brought to life with maps, charts and other compelling visualizations, these insights give employers a smarter understanding of the people they’re trying to reach – and help them create job adverts that really pay off.
